Description
This resort is an unprecedented urban metropolis on 67 acres between Bellagio and Monte Carlo resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. It is a joint venture between MGM MIRAGE (NYSE: MGM) and Infinity World Development Corp, a subsidiary of Dubai World. The whole resort features a 61-story, 4,004-room gaming resort; luxury non-gaming hotels & spa and Crystals, a 500,000-square-foot retail and entertainment district. There are approximately 2,400 residences total. Additionally, there is a 400-room luxury boutique hotel scheduled to open in late 2010. Distinctively designed as two glass towers leaning in opposite directions (five degrees from center), this is the resort’s only residential building and represent a truly innovative architectural accomplishment. The pair of inclining glass towers convey a distinct sense of movement—and respond to each other to bring their shared space alive. They’re the ideal expression of an exciting and dynamic life. The two 37-story towers each will feature approximately 335 residences. Studios; one, two and three- bedroom residences; and penthouses range from 500 to nearly 3,300 square feet.
